North-South GPNF collaboratives met in Vancouver, Aug. 22, 2023

SERIOUS CROSS-POLLINATION happened at the joint Gifford Pinchot Forest collaboratives session with South Gifford Pinchot Collaborative and Pinchot Partners.

Organized by Pinchot Partners Executive Director Janene Ritchie and Josh Petit, Ph.D., Coordinator of the South Gifford Pinchot Collaborative. 

During the day-long event, presentations and discussions took place between the two groups, along with folks from Gifford Pinchot National Forest- U.S. Forest Service, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, Washington Trails Association, Gifford Pinchot Trash Force, and more.

For the last hour, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp-Perez discussed forestry management issues and participated in a Q&A.
